Muthoot Sports is the sports division of the Muthoot Pappachan Group, focused on building structured pathways for talent development and elite performance across football and volleyball.

Through a strong grassroots-to-elite approach, Muthoot Sports works across academies, community programs, professional pathways, and franchise-level competition, with a long-term vision to contribute meaningfully to Indian sport.

Under the Muthoot Sports umbrella, we operate multiple initiatives:

SMFC Sports Private Limited, through which we run the Supercoach Muthoot Football Academy, created in association with Supercoach and the Muthoot Pappachan Group. The academy provides European-style football coaching in Kochi at our Panampilly Nagar ground, led by experienced international coaches with a strong focus on holistic player development.

The Muthoot Pappachan Centre of Excellence in Sports (MPCES), which houses:

Muthoot Football Academy, a structured grassroots and elite football development program

Muthoot Volleyball Academy, focused on identifying and nurturing volleyball talent across Kerala, with special emphasis on youth from rural and underprivileged communities

Muthoot Blue Spikers, a semi-professional volleyball team that bridges the gap between academy training and elite competition

Muthoot Sports also includes the Kochi Blue Spikers, the Group’s elite volleyball franchise competing in the Prime Volleyball League (PVL).
