muti is a cultural association and DAO based in Central Portugal. We support emerging artists of all art forms and experiment with Blockchain technology.

We focus on non-urban areas, and support creatives in their first and crucial steps.

As a collective, we have been active since 2021 and founded a non-profit organization in 2022. The team consists of national and international artists, cultural producers, creatives, and entrepreneurs.

We organize artist residencies, exhibitions, and cultural events and support artists by showing their art, creating connections, providing artistic stipends, and producing high-quality audiovisual content for project promotion.

The association is composed of 9 national and international board members who work in the field of culture and art and are based in Portugal. Our group consists of musicians, experienced cultural producers, visual artists, designers, musicians, videographers, sound technicians, and entrepreneurs.

We have built a strong and diverse team that is able to work in a variety of fields, ranging from event production and curation to onboarding and educating about web3 and new technologies as well as videography and sound recording.

We work we national and international artists and are open to all forms of art and collaborations.
 
In 2021 the collective entered the world of blockchain, web3, and crypto. muti is a DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization), currently on the NEAR blockchain.

The DAO is working with digital NFTs as well as physical redeemables, the metaverse and a decentralized governance structure on-chain.

muti experiments with blockchain technology to create new and physical use cases. Through onboarding and educational sessions as well as stipends, the DAO is supporting emerging artists and creative entities in their first steps into web3.

We participate in a variety of conferences and festivals to introduce new technological tools to artists and cultural entities.
