Diego Eduardo Calb

Diego Eduardo Calb has a diverse work experience in the fields of education and research. Diego Eduardo started their career in 2009 as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at IByME, where they conducted research on the topic of fertilization. Diego Eduardo then joined the Instituto de Oncología Angel Roffo as a Graduate Research Fellow, focusing on a specific research topic in oncology.

In 2012, Diego became a Science Communicator at Derecho en Zapatillas, where they communicated scientific concepts to the general public. Diego Eduardo later worked as a Teacher Trainer at the Dirección General de Cultura y Educación de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, providing training to teachers.

Diego's passion for education led him to work as a Science Educator at Escuela Secundaria Martin Buber, where they taught science to high school students and trained them for international exams and neuroscience competitions. Diego Eduardo also played a role in creating a robotics competition and teaching programming using Arduino.

In 2018, Diego joined Escuela Secundaria Tarbut as a Middle School Science Teacher, where they continued to teach science and prepare students for international exams. Concurrently, in 2021, Diego also worked as a Data Scientist at Biophysical Chemistry and Structural Bioinformatics of Proteins Lab, where they worked with genetic and protein sequences using databases.

Diego's most recent role is as a Data Developer at MUTT DATA, where they currently work.

Diego Eduardo Calb has an extensive education history in the field of biological sciences and data science. In 2004, they began their education at the University of Buenos Aires, where they pursued a degree in Biological Science, completing it in 2010. During this time, Calb focused on gaining a solid foundation in the field.

In 2012, Calb enrolled in the Facultad de Ciencias Exactas y Naturales - UBA and embarked on two educational endeavors. Diego Eduardo first pursued a Science Communication course, which they completed in the same year. This course provided him with skills in effectively communicating scientific concepts to various audiences. Additionally, during this period, Calb also pursued a degree in Biology, specializing in teaching and becoming a professor. Diego Eduardo completed this degree in 2015, further enhancing their expertise in the biological sciences.

Building upon their knowledge and skills, Calb continued their educational journey in the field of data science. In 2021, they attended the Instituto Data Science, obtaining a diploma in Data Science. This program allowed him to develop a comprehensive understanding of data analysis, machine learning, and other relevant topics in the field.

In addition to their formal education, Calb has also obtained certifications to enhance their skill set. In April 2022, they received the Astronomer Certification for Apache Airflow Fundamentals from Astronomer, showcasing their proficiency in using this data management platform. Furthermore, in March 2023, they attained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from AWS Cloud Certified, demonstrating their competence in cloud computing.
