Joyce Polhamus, FAIA, has been with SmithGroup since March 1996, holding various leadership positions, including Vice President and Senior Housing Market Leader, Office Director, and Studio Leader for Healthcare and Healthcare Interiors. Polhamus has also served on the Board of Directors from 2007 to 2010 and again from 2015 to the present. In addition, Polhamus is a Board Member at Muttville Senior Dog Rescue since September 2019. Previous experience includes roles as an Interior Architect at HOK from 1983 to 1996 and as a Healthcare Interior Designer at Kaiser Permanente from 1979 to 1983. Joyce Polhamus earned a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley.
