Renan Ugalde

Renan Ugalde has been a professional in the software engineering and technology industry since 2006. Renan began their career as a software developer and technical lead for EMC (Contractor). In this role, they were responsible for leading a small team, answering their technical questions, and tracking weekly tasks. Renan also worked as a driver developer and focused on functional and design specifications.

In 2010, Renan joined IBM as a Storage Architect. Renan was later promoted to Senior Software Engineer & Co-Architect, where they were responsible for defining product requirements and designing new features for the upcoming releases of a deduplication system. Renan also had strong client-facing experience. In addition, they were promoted to Support Team Lead, where they were responsible for leading a support team and building a new team structure to provide guidance to meet customer satisfaction goals.

In 2019, Renan joined MuukTest as CTO & Software Engineer (AI/ML) & Entrepreneur.

Renan Ugalde obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from ITESO Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara between 2000 and 2004. Subsequently, they went on to earn a Master's degree in Computer Science from Tecnológico de Monterrey between 2011 and 2014.
