David McCool

David McCool began their career in 1986 as the 3rd employee at Shiva Corporation, a developer of network-based peripherals, where they worked as a Software Engineer and rose to become Business Unit Manager. In 1997, they co-founded Aptis Communications/Nortel Networks and ran the software group, leading software architecture and ultimately selling the company to Nortel Networks. In 2002, they co-founded Muzzy Lane Software, a technology company powering game-based learning and assessment, and served as President & CEO and Co-Founder/CTO.

David McCool attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1982 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
