At MVHC (Muskingum Valley Health Centers), we serve as a primary health care resource to ensure that all members of our community have access to affordable and high quality health care. We are a local, non-profit, community-owned primary health care partner that is dedicated to serving our community’s health care needs through convenient locations in Muskingum, Morgan, Coshocton, and Guernsey counties.

Accessibility: We help to ensure that our community has access to medical care when they need it.  We accept Medicare, Medicaid and all forms of private insurance, as well as provide a sliding-scale fee structure, for self-pay patients, based on family size and income.

Quality: Because we are a Federally Qualified Health Center, we are required to meet stringent federal guidelines for both our clinical care and our administrative processes.  We pride ourselves in meeting and exceeding these requirements.

Affordability: We strive to provide care in the most efficient manner possible by focusing on preventative and primary care, reducing our patients’ needs for more expensive inpatient and specialty care. This saves the taxpayer dollars and removes excess costs from the health care system.

The Healthcare Practitioners team at MVHC is responsible for delivering comprehensive primary care services to our community. This multidisciplinary group, comprising Family Nurse Practitioners, a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, a Certified Nurse Midwife & Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, and a Physician Assistant, provides a wide range of medical services including urgent care, mental health care, prenatal and gynecological care, pediatric and adolescent care, and chronic disease management. They work together to ensure accessible, high-quality, and affordable health care for all patients, adhering to stringent federal guidelines to maintain excellence in clinical care.

The Leadership Team at MVHC (Muskingum Valley Health Centers) is responsible for setting strategic direction, overseeing clinical and administrative operations, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, affordable, and accessible health care services. Comprising the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Information Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Patient Experience Officer, this team works collaboratively to maintain compliance with federal guidelines, optimize patient care, and drive initiatives that enhance the overall well-being of the community.

Leadership Team

The Healthcare Management team at MVHC oversees the efficient and effective delivery of various health care services, ensuring compliance with federal guidelines to maintain high standards of quality and affordability. This team includes roles such as the EHR Educator, who trains staff on electronic health records; the Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director of the Ob/gyn Department, who provide clinical leadership and direction; the Social Worker, who offers patient support and advocacy; and the Credentialing Specialist, who manages the certification and licensing of healthcare providers. Together, they work to create a seamless and accessible healthcare experience for the community.
