Thomas Amato

Thomas Amato most recently served as President & Chief Executive Officer of TriMas Corporation from July 2016 through June 2025, where he transformed the company from a broad-based industrial manufacturer to a company focused predominantly in Aerospace and Packaging through strategic acquisitions, key divestitures, and a culture of kaizen. Prior to TriMas, Mr. Amato served as Chief Executive Officer of Metaldyne, LLC and subsequently as Co-President of Metaldyne Performance Group, which American Securities took public in 2014 and sold to American Axle in 2017. He also currently serves as a Director and Chair of the Compensation Committee at AMETEK.
