Matt Smith

Matt Smith has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Matt currently holds the role of Sr. Vice President of Finance at MWH, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they were the Vice President - Director FP&A at MWH from 2021 to 2023. Before joining MWH, Matt worked at Slayden Constructors, Inc. as the Vice President - Business Controller from 2016 to 2021. Matt also served as the Chief Financial Officer at Slayden Construction Group, Inc. from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they held the position of Controller/CFO & Partner at LCG PENCE CONSTRUCTION, LLC from 1997 to 2011. Matt started their career as an Accountant at Walling Sand & Gravel Co in 1995 and later worked as an Accountant at Evergreen International Airlines from 1994 to 1995.

Matt Smith earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Oregon State University, where they attended from 1990 to 1994.
