Michael Erlichster

Director - Research & Development at MX3 Diagnostics, Inc.

Michael Erlichster has a diverse work experience. From 2017 to the present, they have been a Director of Research & Development and a Principal Research Scientist at MX3 Diagnostics. At the University of Melbourne, they held various roles, including being an Honorary Fellow, Lead Tutor, Co-Lead Tutor, PhD Candidate focused on improving genetic testing in clinical practice, Tutor, and Laboratory Demonstrator. Michael also worked as a Chorister at St Kilda Hebrew Congregation and a Scientist Mentor at the Gene Technology Access Centre. Additionally, they were a Research Assistant, Honours Student, and UROP Scholar at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research, and a Research Assistant at The University of Melbourne.

Michael Erlichster began their education at Melbourne High School, where they attended from 2006 to 2009. After completing their high school education, they enrolled at the University of Melbourne in 2010. From 2010 to 2013, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Genetics and Medical Biology. During the same period, from 2010 to 2012, they also obtained a Diploma of Music (Prac) in Voice from the University of Melbourne. After completing their undergraduate studies, they continued their education at the University of Melbourne, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Medicine from 2015 to 2018.
