Asif Hanif

Asif Hanif has worked as a Field Survey Assistant (Summer co-op) at Schaeffer Dzaldov Bennett Ltd. from 2005 to 2006. After that, they worked as an Assistant Geomatics Technician at Ontario Ministry of Transportation from 2006 to 2010. Asif then worked as a GIS Analyst at Natural Resources Planners Ltd. from 2010 to 2012. Following this, they worked as a Geospatial Technical Consultant at Haefeli-Lysnar Geospatial Solutions from 2012 to 2016. Finally, they have been working as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at mx51 since 2021.

Asif Hanif obtained an Engineer's Degree in Geomatics Engineering from York University between 2002 and 2007. In 2020, they obtained three additional certifications: an ArcGIS API for JavaScript Specialty (EAJS19001) from Esri in August, an ArcGIS Desktop Associate (EADA19001) from Esri in July, and an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November.
