Nikola S. began their career in 2011 when they enrolled in the University of Wollongong and completed a BIT Major Networking Design and Management. In 2013, they signed a contract with Sydney Strata Plumbing to re-engineer their paper-based process into a web-based CMS using an Agile Methodology, as well as redesign and configure their network in a client-server model. Near the end of the contract, Sydney Strata Plumbing offered him a part-time IT Support role. In 2014, Nikola S. started at Melbourne IT Group as a Linux Systems Administrator and worked their way up to a Technical Support Level 3/Customer Advocacy role. In 2017, they moved to Energy One Limited as a DevOps Engineer and then in 2018, they joined mx51 as a Staff Engineer, progressing to a Senior DevOps Engineer and then a DevOps Engineer.
Nikola S. completed a Bachelor of Information Technology degree in Network Design and Management from the University of Wollongong between 2011 and 2013.
