Kent Oyer

Kent Oyer is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in IT management, education, and entrepreneurial ventures. As the founder of MX Guardian since 2010, Kent Oyer has developed a hosted email security service specializing in spam and virus filtering for businesses and ISPs. Prior to this, Kent Oyer owned Micro Source of Michiana, Inc., a complete IT provider for small-to-medium businesses from 2002 to 2016, focusing on network design and implementation. Additionally, Kent Oyer served as an adjunct professor at Goshen College in 2009, teaching a course on computer hardware and networking. Earlier in the career, Kent Oyer worked as the IT manager at Quality Glass Service, Inc., overseeing computer systems across multiple locations and developing custom software. Kent Oyer holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Goshen College and has also attended Purdue University and Hesston College.
