Michael Beran

Michael Beran has over 20 years of experience in the field of UX/UI design. Michael began their career in 1999 as a Web Designer at Ignite Sports Media. In 2002, they worked as a Web Designer at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas, where they were responsible for the layout, design and launch of internal and external websites. In 2012, they moved to Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a UX Designer, where they created wireframes, high-fidelity mocks, and specification sheets of complex web screens. Michael then moved to Advanced Technology Group (ATG) in 2014 as a UX Visual Architect, followed by City Colleges of Chicago as a UX Visual Designer. In 2015, they joined Photon as a Senior Creative Designer, and in 2017 they moved to Chase as a UX Designer and then to Ascent Global Logistics as a Senior UX/UI Architect. Most recently, they have been working at MXOtech, Inc. as a UI/UX Designer/Engagement Manager since 2020.

Michael Beran obtained their GED from Glenbrook South High School between 1987 and 1991. Michael then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Illinois State University between 1991 and 1995. In August 2015, they obtained a certification from lynda.com in Building a Responsive Portfolio Site.
