Joy W.

Joy W. has extensive experience in visual arts and journalism, currently serving as a Curator and Editor for The MY HERO Project since January 2015. Joy W. has maintained a self-employed career as a visual artist since March 1960. Previous roles include Producer at ABC News from January 1990 to February 2008, Associate Producer at KCET from 1991 to 1993, Staff Photographer and Editor at Arizona Daily Star from 1982 to 1985, Photographer at The Palm Beach Post from January 1981 to January 1982, and Staff Photographer at San Jose Mercury News in 1981. Joy W. holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Arizona, where education occurred from 1976 to 1980, and attended the Latin School of Chicago.
