John Hess

John Hess is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in leading product and engineering initiatives across various sectors including logistics, real estate, and IoT. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at MyCarrier since February 2019, John focuses on driving end-to-end digitization in the logistics industry. As a board observer for Optimal Dynamics and former board member of Emerge, significant contributions include spearheading successful fundraising initiatives and enhancing IT governance. Previous roles encompass CTO positions at FRONTSTEPS and GlobalTranz, where John oversaw the full lifecycle of SaaS product offerings and implemented agile methodologies. John holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MS in Experimental and Computational Fluid Dynamics from Texas A&M University.
