We specialise in leadership appointments where context, complexity and system dynamics determine whether a leader succeeds or fails.

Overview
Mycelium Search is a boutique executive search firm working with brand-led, founder-led and private equity backed organisations during moments of transformation.

Founded by former global talent and executive search leaders from Yum! Brands, UNiDAYS and OLA, we partner with boards and leadership teams on critical appointments where the cost of getting it wrong is significant.

We specialise in leadership appointments where context, complexity and organisational dynamics determine whether a leader succeeds or fails.

Like the mycelium networks that inspire our name, our work starts below the surface.

Rather than focusing solely on CV strength or sector familiarity, we map the real environment a leader will enter: the organisational ecosystem, the pressures within the system and the conditions required for success.

This allows us to identify leaders who can operate effectively within the reality of the organisation, not simply those who appear strongest on paper.

Traditional executive search prioritises capability.

We prioritise alignment between leader, organisation and context, improving the probability that the leader you appoint actually succeeds.
