Muhammad Umar

Muhammad Umar is a seasoned professional in the telecommunications industry with extensive experience in OSS solution architecture and management. Currently serving as the Head of OSS Solution Architecture at Mycom since November 2021, Muhammad leads cross-functional teams to design scalable and secure architecture for EAA deployments, cloud transformations, and disaster recovery scenarios. Previously, at Etisalat from June 2015 to November 2021, Muhammad excelled as a Senior OSS Solution Architect, where responsibilities included architecting end-to-end business process modules for diverse telecom networks and leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning for automation. Earlier roles included OSS Expert at Huawei Technologies, Team Lead NOC Support at Ufone, and NOC OSS System Administrator at Jazz. Muhammad holds an M.Sc. in Wireless Networks from Queen Mary University of London and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of the Punjab.
