What’s Glyder? We know, to ‘Glide’ means to move smoothly and quietly, especially as though it takes no effort, and to fly using air currents. Our concept 'Glyder' (glider with a 'y') is meant to enable gliding over life's challenges and performance pressures, and move forward in a controlled and balanced way to deliver our best in our field.

A professional, a student, or an entrepreneur, a parent, a teacher, or a sportsperson — everybody strives to achieve best outcomes despite the pressures. Some succeed, others succumb. Besides our knowledge and skills, one way to impact our outcomes is how we respond to the pressures – can we keep our focus, can we manage our emotions, do we back our competences, can we recover from setbacks, and many more such mental skills that go on to improve our performance under pressure. This is a proven phenomenon in sports… ask any elite sportsperson.

Glyder aims to make this high-performance psychology accessible to everyday life — not as theory, but as something you can use today. So we studied decades of research work done in sport psychology, picked the most relevant mental skills, and contextualised them for usage in everyday life. Hence came ‘The Glyder Advantage’, the book that has laid out 12 of these mental skills in a simple form for everyone to understand and apply.

‘The Glyder Advantage’ delivers these mental skills through common stories, explanations with examples, real-life anecdotes, and practical tips to action.

Our MyGlyder page celebrates a simple, powerful fact: the mental skills that make elite athletes consistently perform high under pressure, can also make us achieve it in everyday life. This page is where we share stories, researched findings, insights, and real conversations – all about the mental skills that deliver performance under pressure — at work, in exams, in business, in everyday life.
