Brian Carson is currently a Project Manager at MyHEAT. Prior to this, they were with JMP Solutions from February 2016 to December 2021 as a Project Manager. Brian was also with HOCS Projects from November 2015 to March 2016 as a Project Manager for Upstream Heavy Oil projects. From August 2013 to September 2015, they were with Stantec as a Project Engineer - Heavy Oil and was responsible for Project Engineer for Upstream Insitu Heavy Oil projects. Before that, they were with Penn West Exploration from October 2010 to August 2013 as a Facilities Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for overall planning, scope development, detailed design, construction, start-up, and close-out of facility and pipeline projects.
Brian Carson has a B.Sc.(Eng) in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Calgary. Brian also has a Welding Level C certification from University College of the Cariboo, and an Automobile/Automotive Mechanics Technology/Technician certification from University College of the Cariboo. Brian is certified by the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC (APEGBC) as a Professional Engineer, by the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) as a Professional Engineer, and by The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) as a Professional Engineer. Brian also has a certification in Applied Project Management from Mount Royal University.
