Hidde Ottens

Hidde Ottens is the Founder and Owner of Sporttijden.com, established in January 2011, focusing on electronic timekeeping for open water swimming competitions in the Netherlands, in partnership with the KNZB. Hidde has been a Business Partner at Hopatec Sports Services since July 2015 and served as Operations Manager at Premier Sports Timing by Super Sports UAE from January 2022 to November 2023. Previous roles include Senior Manager of Customer Relationship Management at Thermosmart (October 2020 - May 2023) and Senior Timer at MYLAPS Event Timing B.V. (January 2012 - May 2021). Hidde's earlier career includes managerial positions at Smart Fit Nederland and HealthCity, as well as account management at Sport Automatisering Groep B.V. and experience as a fitness trainer at David Lloyd. Hidde holds a degree in Sport & Bewegen from Albeda College, Netherlands.
