Casey Deen

Casey Deen has extensive experience in optical test engineering, simulation engineering, and postdoctoral research in adaptive optics and optical systems. They have held roles such as Lead Optical Test Engineer, Lead Simulation Engineer, and Postdoctoral Researcher at companies like Mynaric and Max Planck Institute. Their responsibilities have included system troubleshooting, data analysis, software development, and modeling of optical systems.

Casey Deen holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Texas A&M University, earned from 2000 to 2004. They further pursued higher education at The University of Texas at Austin, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Astronomy and Astrophysics from 2005 to 2011. In 2017, Casey also obtained a certification in Deutsch B1 from telc GmbH - The European Language Certificates.
