Benjamin Dunkley, PhD has a diverse work experience in various research and scientific roles. Benjamin began their career as a Data Analyst at Cardiff University in 2011, followed by a role as a Research Fellow at York University from November 2011 to August 2013. In September 2013, they joined The Hospital for Sick Children as a Research Fellow, where they worked until October 2015. Benjamin then transitioned to the role of Project Investigator from November 2015 to October 2016, and subsequently became an Associate Scientist from October 2016 to February 2020. Since February 2020, they have served as a Scientist at The Hospital for Sick Children. In addition to their work at the hospital, Benjamin Dunkley has also been an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto since November 2016. Benjamin recently joined MYndspan as a Scientific Advisor from April 2021 to March 2022, and was subsequently promoted to the position of Chief Scientific Officer starting in March 2022. Benjamin Dunkley, PhD, began their education by attending Sir Thomas Rich's Grammar School from 1995 to 2002. After completing their secondary education, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Psychology with Cognitive Science at the University of Sussex from 2004 to 2007. Following their undergraduate studies, Benjamin proceeded to obtain a Master of Research (MRes) degree in Psychological Research Methods with Neuroimaging from Aston University between 2007 and 2008. Benjamin then furthered their academic journey by attending Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, where they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Psychology from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, in 2012, Benjamin acquired a Standard First Aid with CPR (Level C) certification from St. John's Ambulance.
