Myositis India (a unit of Madalasa Foundation) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by myositis in India. Our mission is to raise awareness, provide support, and promote research into myositis, a rare and complex autoimmune disease that causes muscle inflammation and weakness.

We provide a platform to connect patients, caregivers, specialists, and researchers so that every person living with Myositis gets timely information, compassionate support, and better care outcomes.

We are a family of more 5000+ patients and 120+ doctors, with more than 50 events organised to connect and grow the Myositis awareness community.

Our ambassador, actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu, collaborates with doctors, patient groups and caregivers to highlight early diagnosis, access to care and mental health for the people living with Myositis.
