Michael Lau

Michael Lau is a highly experienced music publishing executive with a diverse background in various leadership roles. They served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer at Round Hill Music from 2011 to 2012 and are currently the Chief Operations Officer and Co-Founder of CollectivRights Management, LLC. Lau is also an Assistant Professor at Berklee College of Music, developing courses that provide practical insights into music publishing contracts and royalty administration. Their past contributions include serving as the National Chair for the Association of Independent Music Publishers and working in various capacities with Warner Chappell Music and Cartoon Network. Additionally, Lau is actively involved as a mentor at Berklee College of Music and NYU’s music business program.
