Itzel E. is the current Senior Manager of Guaranteed Income and Manager of Financial Capability Partnerships at MyPath. Previously, at the City and County of San Francisco, Itzel worked as the Youth Development Manager, focusing on training and supporting Youth Commissioners. Prior to that, Itzel served as a Program Coordinator at the Youth Leadership Institute, working with young people to create positive social change through social justice and public health interventions. Itzel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from San Francisco State University.
MyPath
A national nonprofit headquartered in the Mission District of San Francisco, MyPath supports youth from low income families to take control of their finances and achieve economic mobility. To this end, MyPath engineers effective models that support youth to save and build credit; shares what works with the field and through training and technical assistance to support the adoption of our approaches in communities; and advances policy change in partnership with young people. Our results and best practices have been published by the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, the Journal of Consumer Affairs and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
