Myrrha is an Accelerator Driven System, Lead-Bismuth eutectic cooled, sub-critical fast research reactor that is being designed and built on the site of the Belgian Nuclear Research Centre SCK CEN in Mol, Belgium. 
Myrrha will contribute to society in several aspects, including:
- radio-isotope production for nuclear medicine in large volumes and with high purity
- enable nuclear waste research in the fields of partitioning and transmutation, thereby sharply reducing storage by volume (by factor 100) and by time (from abt 300,000 to 300 years)
- allow fundamental physics and materials research in environments that approximate Gen IV and fusion reactors
Myrrha is being constituted as an International Non-Profit Organisation under Belgian law (IVZW-AISBL). It is open to international cooperation.
