David Hébert is an experienced R&D Engineer at MyScript® since August 2014, specializing in online document layout analysis through machine learning as part of the 2D research team. Previously, David held positions as a Post-Doctorant at LITIS Université de Rouen, focusing on offline handwriting recognition and automatic document language detection, and as a University Teacher, instructing various programming and signal processing courses. David completed a PhD at Université de Rouen, where research centered on automatic structure extraction in newspaper archives and the application of sequential conditional random fields. Additional experience includes contributions as a Research Assistant and Research Engineer in projects related to document analysis and medical image segmentation. David earned a Master's degree with high honors from Université de Rouen prior to pursuing the PhD.
