Freddy Perraud has extensive experience in research and development of natural language processing techniques, particularly in the domain of online handwriting recognition. As an Ingénieur R&D at MyScript® since January 2006, Freddy has led projects and managed teams, focusing on the development and optimization of recurrent models based on LSTM and combined n-gram and n-class models. Prior to that, Freddy completed a doctoral thesis at Vision Objects, where the research centered on natural language modeling for handwriting recognition, alongside collaborations with the LS2N laboratory. Freddy holds a Diplôme d'Ingénieur in Computer Science from INSA Rennes and a DEA from LS2N, further underscoring a robust academic background in the field.
