Prajol Shrestha

Prajol Shrestha is an experienced professional in the fields of natural language processing and software engineering, currently serving as a Research and Development Engineer and NLP Engineer at MyScript® since October 2012. Prior to this role, Prajol was a PhD student at the University of Nantes from October 2009 to 2013, specializing in multimodal monolingual comparable corpus alignment. Earlier career experience includes a position as a researcher and senior programmer at Madan Puraskar Pustakalaya from November 2005 to September 2007, where the focus was on developing linguistic resources for the Nepali language. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Natural Language Processing from Nantes Université, as well as two Master’s degrees in Computer Science from French National and Charles University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology.
