Ryan Demoor

Ryan DeMoor has a diverse work experience in the aviation and finance industry. Ryan is currently the Head of Aviation Tax at MySky, where they oversee the Tax Reporting Solutions Division and manages a team of professionals. Ryan also contributes to the development of MySky Tax, an industry-leading Aviation Tax SaaS platform.

Before joining MySky, Ryan served as the Manager of Aviation Tax & Financial Reporting Solutions at Satcom Direct from 2017 to 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Financial Analyst for the Aviation Department at Amway, where they conducted financial analysis for a complex Part 91 flight department and contributed to the restructuring of the department in a new ERP system.

Ryan's earlier experience includes roles as a Pricing Analyst at US Signal, Cost Analyst at Northern Jet Management, Canadair Regional Jet First Officer at Independence Air, and Flight Instructor at Grand Rapids Air Center.

Ryan DeMoor, CAM, MBA holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Economics from Grand Valley State University, which they earned from 2003 to 2005. Ryan also has a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, which they obtained between 1996 and 2000. Additionally, Ryan has received various certifications, including being SD aeroIT Certified by Satcom Direct (obtained in August 2018) and being a Certified Aviation Manager - Silver by the National Business Aviation Association (obtained in November 2013). Ryan also possesses a range of certifications from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), such as Advanced and Instrument Ground Instructor, Airline Transport Pilot, CE-500 Type Rating, Commercial Single & Multi-Engine Land Pilot Certificate, Instrument Rating, and LR-45 Type Rating. Furthermore, Ryan holds NASA High Altitude Certification from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
