Nigel Ball

Nigel Ball is an entrepreneurial leader with extensive experience in social change across government, social enterprise, and academia. Currently, they serve as the Director of the Social Purpose Lab at the University of the Arts London. Previously, Nigel held roles such as Executive Director at the Blavatnik School of Government, Head of Innovation at Teach First, and Chief Development Officer at West London Zone, where they pioneered a ‘Collective Impact’ initiative for at-risk children. Nigel also founded the Mara Foundation to support youth entrepreneurship and has served as a Board Member at mySociety. They earned a First Class Honours degree in English Literature and Linguistics from the University of York.
