Thomas Peters has a strong background in founding and leading tech companies. Thomas is currently the Founder and CEO of Switchboard, a texting platform that allows users to build deeper relationships through SMS, MMS, and Video Text. Prior to Switchboard, Thomas founded and served as CEO of RumbleUp: Personal Scalable Messaging, a company specializing in personalizable messaging solutions. Before that, they founded uCampaign, a platform for building powerful apps that engage supporters and gather valuable data. Notably, uCampaign designed the official smartphone app for various organizations, including the Republican National Committee and the UK Conservative Party. Thomas also worked as a Consultant for CatholicVote.org and served as the Author of the popular Catholic blog, AmericanPapist. Additionally, they gained experience as the Communications Director for the American Principles Project, where they managed websites and social channels and represented the organization in coalition meetings and on Capitol Hill. In the early stages of their career, Thomas worked as a freelance web developer, building and maintaining websites for various clients, including professional organizations, authors, and fan sites.
Thomas Peters attended Ave Maria University from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Philosophy. Following this, they studied at Sacred Heart Major Seminary from 2005 to 2007, earning a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Bioethics/Medical Ethics. Later, from 2007 to 2009, they attended the Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception at the Dominican House of Studies, where they obtained an STB degree in Theology/Theological Studies.
