Marcus Slater

Marcus Slater has held various roles in the marketing and technology industry since 2011. Marcus began their career as the Director of Marketing and Business Development for First Company Management, First Company Apparel, and Shirt 4 Life. In 2013, they moved on to become the Director of Marketing and Communications for Christian Artists Group, where they achieved a significant social media presence. In 2016, they joined Happy Tax as the VP of Marketing and Technology, and then moved on to become the Digital Marketing Associate for Dr. Axe's Food Is Medicine. In 2018, they co-founded Crypto Tax Academy, where they served as the VP of Marketing and Technology and Instructor and generated $700K+ in revenue in 2018 and $2.1M in 2019. Marcus then co-founded CryptoTaxPrep.com in 2017 as the VP of Marketing and Technology. In 2019, they joined Deka Lash as the Chief Marketing and Technology Officer, and also joined Look Good Brands as the Chief Marketing and Technology Officer (CMTO). In 2022, they became the Chief Growth Officer for MyTime.

Marcus Slater attended Full Sail University from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Music Business & Design. Marcus returned to Full Sail University in 2014 and completed a Certificate in Communication and Media Studies in 2015. Additionally, they obtained a Design & Media Communications certification from Full Sail University in January 2008.
