John Dymek

John Dymek is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in deployment and mechanical engineering, currently serving as a Senior Deployment Engineer at Mytra since October 2025. Prior roles include serving as an AUV Field Engineer at Anduril Industries, where responsibilities encompassed operating autonomous underwater vehicles and leading AUV missions. Dymek also worked at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution as a Mechanical Engineer and Pilot in Training for the DSV Alvin, managing deep-sea submersible operations and systems. Earlier experience includes deployment engineering at RightHand Robotics, mechanical engineering roles at Johnson Controls and Medtronic, and co-op positions in mechanical engineering at XL Fleet Electrification and Parker Aerospace. Dymek holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and has a Firefighter I/II Certification.
