John Paton is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in systems and mechanical design engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Manager of Systems Engineering at Mytra since March 2024, John previously co-founded Alder, a software company for hardware professionals. John's tenure at Stratasys from January 2021 to June 2023 included roles such as R&D Technical Team Lead and Staff Systems Engineer, where John led technical development efforts and managed a hardware engineering team. Notable achievements include receiving the Stratasys Spark Excellence Award and initiating critical manufacturing projects during the Covid-19 pandemic. Earlier experience includes significant roles at Origin, Swivl, Duo Group, and internships that contributed to expertise in mechanical engineering and design processes.
