Michael Davis is a seasoned information security leader with expertise in governance, risk management, and compliance. Currently serving as the Director of Security and Compliance at AKASA, Michael oversees key security initiatives, guiding interdisciplinary teams in achieving HITRUST and SOC 2 certifications. Previously, Michael held roles including IT Director and HIPAA Security Officer at HFS Consultants and Senior Risk Advisory Consultant at Wipfli LLP, where they conducted audits and managed compliance programs. Michael earned a Bachelor's Degree in Cognitive Science and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
