Erik Galway

Erik Galway has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Erik is currently working at N-able as the Director of Security Operations & Incident Response since November 2021. Prior to this, Erik held various roles at Availity, including Senior Manager of Security Operations from March 2015 to November 2021, Senior Information Security Analyst from March 2014 to March 2015, and Information Security Analyst from December 2012 to March 2014. Earlier in their career, Erik worked at Bank of America as AVP for BigFix Operations and Infrastructure Support from April 2008 to December 2012, and at Merrill Lynch as a Senior Specialist for Global Security Administration from July 2006 to March 2008. Before that, they were involved in Technical Support at ActiveHost Corporation from 2005 to 2006.

Erik Galway completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology Management at the University at Albany, SUNY from 2001 to 2005. Erik then pursued a Masters of Professional Studies (MPS) degree in Homeland Security - Information Security Forensics at Penn State University from 2013 to 2017. Erik also holds various certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from ISC2 and GIAC Certified Forensics Analyst (GCFA) and GIAC Continuous Monitoring Certification (GMON) from the SANS Institute.
