Matt Wade

Matt Wade is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in security program management and urban planning. Currently serving as a Security Program Manager for N-able since September 2021, Matt has successfully developed operations for the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Team, established collaborative relationships across departments, and spearheaded cybersecurity initiatives such as the Security Training, Awareness, and Communications Program. Prior to this role, Matt worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National University of Singapore, focusing on climate adaptation policy, and conducted significant research at the University of California, Berkeley, where contributions included award-winning publications and impactful teaching. An adept program manager, Matt has also held roles in educational institutions and advocacy organizations, demonstrating a strong commitment to community engagement and policy development. Matt holds a PhD in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a Master’s degree in International Affairs and a Bachelor’s degree in English.
