Bruno Cats

Bruno Cats has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and solution delivery. Bruno is currently working at N-SIDE as the Head of Solution Delivery, a role they started in October 2022. Prior to that, they were the Head of Edge Team at N-SIDE from October 2020 to September 2023.

Before joining N-SIDE, Bruno worked at MAINSYS for several years. Bruno held various positions during their tenure, including Lead Software Engineer - Development Lead, Senior Software Engineer - Development Lead, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer. In these roles, Bruno took on responsibilities such as team leadership, project management, requirement elicitation, estimation, planning and assignment of development tasks, and development planning management. Bruno also worked on key products such as FRONTeO Branch and FRONTeO Home for various banking clients.

Bruno also gained experience during their internship at J.P. Morgan, where they led a team working on financial data visualization. Additionally, they completed an internship at ECE Paris, where they studied real-time scheduling and implemented an energy model with energy harvesting for uniprocessor embedded systems.

Bruno Cats has a strong education background in both financial systems engineering and computer sciences. Bruno obtained an MSc in Financial Systems Engineering from UCL in 2012 and an MSc in Computer Sciences - Conception of Systems from Université libre de Bruxelles in 2011. Prior to their master's degrees, they completed their high school education at École Decroly, focusing on sciences and mathematics from 2000 to 2006. Additionally, Bruno has acquired two certifications: Brevet de secouriste d'entreprise from SERVICE EXTERNE DE PREVENTION ET DE PROTECTION SECUREX-EXTERNE DIENST VOOR PREVENTIE EN BESCHERMING SECUREX in 2020 and PRINCE2 Foundation Examination from APMG International in 2015.
