Duncan Burt

Duncan Burt is an experienced senior energy executive specializing in energy transition and sustainability, with a global background in electricity and gas utilities. Currently, Duncan serves on the Advisory Board for N-SIDE, focusing on optimization algorithms for low carbon grids, and holds positions as a Non-Executive Director for both New AutoMotive, an EV adoption advocacy group, and Open Climate Fix, a non-profit dedicated to renewable forecasting. Previously, Duncan worked at National Grid in various leadership roles including Chief Sustainability Officer and Director for #COP26, and held positions at GSK and the Department of Energy and Climate Change. Duncan earned a BSc in Physics with French from the University of Bristol.
