Eric Peterson

Eric Peterson is a seasoned executive with a robust background in diversity inclusion and community engagement. Serving as a Foundation Board Member for the NAACP since January 2013, Peterson brings extensive leadership experience as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History since November 2015 and as a Statutory Trustee at Hartford Memorial Baptist Church since October 2016. Prior to these roles, Peterson was instrumental at General Motors, holding various positions including Vice President of Corporate Diversity and U.S. Vice President of Diversity, contributing significantly to dealer relations and diversity initiatives for four decades until 2016. Peterson's educational credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management/Marketing from Ohio University and advanced management training from Harvard Business School, Northwestern University, and Stanford University.
