John Bowman, MBA, serves as the President of the NAACP since October 2019. Additionally, John is the Owner of S&P Strategies and Solutions, LLC, focusing on candidate and issue campaign management as well as fundraising since April 2010. Previously, John held the position of Chief of Staff for the 5th Senatorial District in the State of Missouri from January 2009 to December 2012, where responsibilities included drafting the Senator's legislative package and managing office staff. Earlier in career, John worked at Chrysler from March 1977 to June 2010 in Automation Systems, where tasks involved automation, PLC/Robotics, and quality testing. John earned an MBA from Fontbonne University.
