David Acree

David joined NABU as the Financial Controller in 2023. David is a CPA with 15+ years of experience in the Accounting Field with extensive experience in several leadership positions in the non-profit accounting sector. He graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s in Accounting. He is focused on ways to improve efficiencies and streamline processes. He is also particularly interested in the intersection of finance and technology. Influenced by numerous teachers in his family, he is very passionate about education and the power of literacy.
