Katy Murphy

Katy Murphy has a diverse work experience in the field of college counseling and administration. Katy spent several years at Bellarmine College Preparatory, where they served as the Director of College Counseling and later as a College Counselor. In these roles, they supervised a team of counselors, worked with students in exploring college options, and organized programs for students and parents. Additionally, they have experience as an Instructor for college counseling certificate programs at UC Berkeley and UCLA Extension. Katy also held leadership positions in professional organizations such as the National Association for College Admission Counseling and WACAC. Prior to their work in college counseling, they had positions at Mount St. Mary's College and Whittier College, where they served as Assistant Provost and Director of Admission respectively.

Katy Murphy obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Whittier College, where they studied from 1972 to 1976. Additionally, there is no available information regarding their education at Washington University in St. Louis.
