Daan Wind

Daan Wind, MPH, currently serves as a Program Analyst for Public Health Law and Policy at NACCHO, starting in August 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Policy Advisor at GGD Haaglanden, where Daan led health research presentations to political stakeholders and coordinated health initiatives for Ukrainian refugees. As a Policy Officer at the Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, Daan managed government subsidies for primary care digitization and analyzed health policies for various vulnerable groups. Daan's background also includes project leadership and academic roles, complemented by a solid educational foundation in public health, health economics, and health systems governance from institutions such as Jagiellonian University and The University of Sheffield.
