Daniel Roth has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Daniel began their career in politics, working as a Legislative Assistant for Assemblywoman Carole Migden and later as a Legislative Assistant for Assemblywoman Sarah Reyes. During this time, they managed press operations and assisted with legislative agendas.
After their time in politics, Roth took on the role of Legislative Director at the California Primary Care Association. Daniel then transitioned to the City of Sacramento, where they served as Chief of Staff for a City Councilmember, advising on complex district issues and representing the councilmember at events.
Roth's career then shifted to the environmental sector, where they worked as a Media Relations Manager for The Nature Conservancy. In this role, they served as a spokesperson, pitched stories, and represented the organization at policy forums.
Daniel'snext role was as Communications Director for the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee, where they collaborated on communication plans and successfully placed stories in national publications. Roth then joined the U.S. House of Representatives, serving as Communications Director for Congresswoman Karen Bass. Daniel pitched and prepared the congresswoman for media interviews and wrote press releases and statements to promote their priorities.
Roth continued their career in the advocacy space, joining the Beer Institute as the Communications Director and later as the Senior Director of Public Affairs. In these roles, they achieved significant earned media placements, implemented policy initiatives, and grew the organization's social media following.
Most recently, Roth has joined Nacha as the Senior Director of Communications. In this role, they are responsible for developing and executing communications efforts in support of the ACH Network and payments enablement initiatives.
