Tom Garcy

Tom Garcy has been working in the design and user experience industry since 2006. Tom began their career as a founder of "This is Garcy", a boutique design studio focusing on brand, UX, UI, and product design. Tom has since worked for NMDS as a User Experience, Product, and Art Director, U+Design as Creative Director and CEO, U+ Venture Building as Creative Director and Strategist, Freya CZ as Creative Director and 1st Officer, Art Director, Graphic Designer, and Online Specialist, Scholz & Friends Praha as Graphic Designer and Art Director, Beats.PM as Co-Founder, and Scholz & Friends Praha as Junior Art Director. Currently, they are the Branding & User Experience Lead at NachoNacho.

Tom Garcy began their educational journey in 2004 when they attended Gymnázium Jana Nerudy and studied Humanities. In 2009, they moved on to Czech Technical University in Prague to study Architecture and Urbanism. The following year, they transferred to the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague to pursue a degree in Graphic Design & Visual Communication. In 2012, Tom graduated from the Academy with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Graphic Design and New Media.
