John Hijma has a wealth of experience in the architectural field, with a focus on sustainability and circular design. Currently working as a Projectlead Architecture - Sustainability at NACO, Netherlands Airport Consultants B.V., John has been involved in numerous projects such as the Verkeerscentrale Amsterdam, HT1 Offices, and the Banjul Presidential Lounge in Gambia. Prior to their current role, John owned their own architecture firm, worked as a Projectleider-bouwkundige at KCAP architects and planners, and held various other project management positions at firms like Hootsmans Architectuurbureau B.V. and B+M Den Haag. With a degree in Bouwkunde and a strong background in architectural engineering, John brings a diverse set of skills and expertise to each project John works on.
