Kyle Nishida's work experience includes roles in various media and sports organizations. Kyle currently works as a Media Coordinator at NAEGELI Deposition & Trial, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Producer, Board Operator, and Host at 620 Rip City Radio from 2018 to 2022. At NBC Sports Northwest, they worked as a Show Producer from 2018 to 2021.
Before entering the media industry, Nishida gained experience in the sports field. Kyle worked as an Outside Golf Services employee at Maple Chase Golf and Country Club from 2016 to 2018. At IMG College, they served as a Studio Host and Producer, specifically for the Nissan College Football Blitz and live play-by-play broadcasts of Georgia Women's basketball games, from 2016 to 2018.
Nishida also had a role as a Video Analyst for the Portland Trail Blazers, where they reviewed and took notes on regular season and playoff games from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, they worked as an Editor for FanSided, writing articles about Indiana professional and college sports teams and managing social media platforms from 2016 to 2017.
Early in their career, Nishida worked as a Freelance Beat Writer for RantSports, meeting a monthly article quota and demonstrating proficiency in search engine optimization strategies from 2015 to 2016. Kyle also gained experience in media and broadcasting as Media Personnel at the Global Basketball Summer League in 2015, serving as a sideline reporter, play-by-play broadcaster, and color commentator.
Nishida's earliest work experience was in college radio at KUGR.org Cougar College Radio. Kyle served as a Sports Director, maintaining contact with the Washington State University Athletic Communications Office and providing opportunities for young broadcasters to improve their skills from 2014 to 2015. Kyle also operated a radio board as a DJ Radio Show Host and Sports Broadcaster, broadcasting Washington State volleyball, basketball, and baseball games from 2011 to 2015.
